Importadora y Exportadora Bendel S.A. is a Chilean fruit trading company, formed by producers who have an experience of over a decade in the foreign trade of fresh fruit, dehydrated products, some vegetables and also wines. Bendel S.A. is a member of Asociación de Exportadores de Chile (Chilean Exporters Association) and it's also a member of Chile's Avocado Committee.

The company, which began operating in 1989, today exports a quantity of over half million fresh fruit boxes, consisting basically in grapes, nectarines, peaches, plums, pears, apples, kiwis, garlic and avocados, among others.

It must be remarked that Importadora y Exportadora Bendel S.A, has its own production supply, with selected fruitfarmers which are related to the company and accurately advised during the production process. Moreover, during the selection and packing stage, the company receives support from Fundación Chile and Adfrut Limitada, among others.

Today, Bendel S.A. exports to markets as diverse as United States (West Coast, Gulf and Central America), Europe (Eastern and Western), Middle East, Far East, Latin America and Oceania. The main feature of Bendel products is their high quality and adaptation to the client's requirements regarding the product's atribute and packings.

The main headquarters is located in Santiago de Chile and has packing and cold store services all over the country (North, South and central zone).

Among its main objectives, it's important to mention the long term continuance in the industry. This is achieved mainly through satisfying their client's needs by means of exporting good quality products and by the condition and/or adequation to their requirements.

Bendel is always under a constant phase of balanced and sustained development, which (thanks to its own work capital) will continue until achieving its well planned goals.

Currently, the company works along with PROCHILE (the Chilean Exports Promoting Office), which depends from Chile's Foreign Affairs Ministry, addressing to a strategy of development for new markets and for the achievement of clients who have the ability to discriminate their well-known products.

Regarding the quality of the products, we emphasize that the company has a broad experience on technical and commercial management of the traded products, which is backed up by the service it offers to the world's largest supermarket chains.

On the other hand, it's important to point out that Bendel S.A. makes the difference on this respect, supporting itself on original packages that satisfy the different needs of its clients. All packages are properly audited by entities as Fundación Chile, Universidad Católica, Adfrut Limitada, Universidad Norteamericana, among others.

Besides working with fresh fruit, the company includes on its tasks some types of dehydrated fruit and vegetables as celery, radichios, onions and garlic, among others.
